Summary and Role Purpose
We are seeking a detailed-oriented Due Diligence Analyst to join our trade compliance team. In this role, you will research and analyze customer activities and end-use information to help determine whether end-users may be engaged in high-risk activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough research concerning customer business activities and end-use information to identify potential red flags.
- Evaluating customer activities and relationships to determine potential risks associated with compliance with trade regulations.
- Compiling and presenting detailed reports summarizing findings, including risk assessments and recommendations for further action.
- Gathering and organizing relevant data from various sources to support due diligence processes.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to share insights and enhance the overall trade compliance program.
- Identifying opportunities to refine due diligence processes and methodologies for better efficiency and effectiveness.
- Staying informed on changes in trade compliance regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in trade compliance, due diligence, or a related area.
- Familiarity with trade compliance laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to conduct in-depth research and analyze complex information.
- Familiarity with research tools and databases used to perform due diligence.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global context.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
