Summary / Role Purpose

The primary role of a Marketing Specialist is to work with the French Marketing Manager and the team to foster demand generation and track moving contacts into the sales pipeline under the guidance of the local French marketing manager. This will be achieved through the promotion and delivery of events, digital and social media activities, account-based marketing activities and other complementary offline and online marketing activities.The ideal candidate is highly organized with an upbeat, can-do attitude, impeccable attention to detail, and a collaborative style.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Based on French Marketing Plan aligned to sales priorities and target, build and execute demand gen campaigns, customer marketing activities, field events, tradeshow, webinars.
  • Take full responsibility of vertical campaigns: deliver and execute a marketing plan on this vertical with a mix of marketing tactics.
  • Communicate with sales to prioritize input, gain buy-in and understanding
  • Work collaboratively with Strategic and French Enterprise accounts, meet the customers and bring marketing value to the account. Engage on customer testimonials
  • Support global strategic marketing initiatives such as campaign launches, website, digital marketing, internal communications and account-based marketing strategies
  • Promote local marketing activities through the usage of social media and social selling
  • Support the marketing lead generation process in gathering contacts, nurturing them and tracking the record of their customer journey in our CRM system
  • Establish vendor relationships and manage allocated budgets.
  • Track, measure, and report on pipeline metrics across field marketing programs

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

  • Bac + 4 or 5 diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English or Writing
  • A minimum of 2 years’ marketing-related experience in B2B
  • A good working level of written and spoken English
  • An understanding of online/offline events/program management, specifically around webinar management
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and highly motivated, with experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience with marketing tactics including event management – both physical and virtual, campaign execution, paid media, paid social, content syndication etc., and experience with the modern marketing technology stack (Pardot, Salesforce, Monday.com) is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Prior experience working in a technical business setting with engineers or in engineering simulation is a plus
