Summary / Role Purpose
Product Specialist works closely with Semiconductor design customers to solve complex IP & SoC design challenges using Ansys technologies. They are subject-matter expert & trusted advisors to Customers.
They work on understanding new challenges introduced by the latest technologies, work closely with Software developers & Product-Specialists to implement & test solutions, and then evaluate & deploy it on leading edge Customer designs.
Key focus areas: IP/SoC Power Integrity, Signal Integrity & Reliability analyses - the top challenges for chip designers on advanced technology nodes
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Global Custom IP designers and Foundries to understand new design challenges on leading-edge AMS IPs.
- Work with Product development team to design / re-design state-of-the-art EDA products.
- Work with top Semiconductor companies to evaluate & deploy Ansys Solutions for AMS IPs & SoC
- Provide expert guidance / consultation to Customers for solving complex design challenges.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s from Electronics Engineering/VLSI from Top Institutions (NITs/IITs and likes)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good programming skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 1+ years of experience in layout design, Physical verification, and Spice Simulation for AMS / Analog / PMIC / IO / Custom IPs
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Passion to learn and deploy new technologies.

- Ability for minimal travel
