Summary / Role Purpose
This position is limited to approximately 15 months as a maternity/ parental leave replacement.
The Senior HR Coordinator (m/f/d) will be a member of the Country HR Organization and will work closely with the Country HR Manager and HR Generalists to provide coordination and administrative support for various HR topics. The Senior HR Coordinator is responsible for consistently delivering best in class and multiple HR related administrative tasks. This role requires a high level of coordination, attention to detail as well as a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage operational and administrative human resources activities for the region DACH
- Provide assistance to run HR transactions while appropriately tracking and documenting inquires such as: new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, personal and job data changes, position management
- Preparation of employment agreements and contract supplements, termination and transfer letters, salary change notifications, employment testimonials and certificates
- Support on- and off-boarding activities
- Handling of leave and absence management
- Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely responses to employee and manager queries or redirect questions to other appropriate HR team members such as Payroll, HR Operations, HR Generalist, Country HR Manager/HR Business Partner
- Participation in local and global HR projects possible
- Management of personnel files (records) electronically and physically including filing
- Support other ad-hoc HR requests
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
- 5-7 years of professional HR experience (desirable for Germany) with 2-3 years of experience in a customer (employees) service focused role or administrative support role
- Excellent communication skills, proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels within a global organization
- Ability to work flexibly in a multinational work environment
- Strong service and customer orientation; with a high level of professionalism and discretion
- Administrative orientation, organizational skills combined with an ability to handle multiple priorities, attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and self-motivated
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw insights from data
- High level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office Tools, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Power Point and Excel
- Good communication skills, fluency in German and English is a must (verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Working experience in a fast paced and multi-national environment
- Relevant industry experience is a plus
- Some travel might be required
