Staff Accountant
- Review and approve sales orders.
- Book customer payments, deposit cheques, and record bank transactions.
- Manage accounts receivable by maintaining relationships to facilitate timely payment of invoices, applying customer payments, and following up on payments.
- Provide timely responses to customer inquiries.
- Manage customer relations and their portfolio of subscriptions, ensuring appropriate revenue recognition for transactions.
- Book vendor bills to ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP (ex: capital assets, prepaid expenses).
- Enter employee expense reports.
- Conduct analysis as required to support decision making.
- Assist with other requests and projects, as the need arises, to support the finance team in broader activities.
- Note that this position will be cross-trained in other functions of the Finance team (ex: month-end processes) to ensure consistency and collaboration across the team.
