About the Role:
As a Technical Services Specialist, you will be a key member of the Technical Services team, playing a client-facing role supporting the technical aspects of professional services engagements. Based remotely in Canada, you will contribute to the implementation of technical work-streams within projects and be responsible for scheduling, planning, and executing these deliverables.
A Day in the Life:
- Serve as the primary technical resource for small/medium projects, coordinating with Sales, Product, Data, Engineering, and Client Experience teams.
- Assist as a secondary technical resource on large/enterprise projects under the guidance of the Technical Lead.
- Facilitate meetings, answer questions, and provide recommendations on technical topics such as data migration, custom reports, and API integrations.
- Deploy and occasionally build Turn-Key Integrations.
- Analyze client data requirements and workflows; identify roadblocks and provide solutions.
- Deliver strategic consulting via phone and occasionally on-site.
- Support internal initiatives through documentation, training, and shadowing sessions.
- Maintain best practices and training material for the Technical Services team.
- Perform data migration activities including mapping legacy systems to AlayaCare and testing data accuracy.
- Support business intelligence projects by defining and validating reporting requirements.
- Contribute to API and flat file integration work by guiding clients and acting as a liaison with internal teams.
- Develop interim Excel-based reports/macros to bridge reporting gaps.
- Assist with other technical work-streams and projects as needed.
What You Bring to the Team:
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- College diploma or professional training in a technical field.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of integrations, data migration, and reporting.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Experience with SaaS or healthcare software is considered an asset.
Location and Travel Requirements:
AlayaCare supports a flexible hybrid working model, expecting employees to have a regular in-office presence at their closest office location while offering flexibility for some remote work. The preferred candidate location for this role is Toronto, Canada, with some travel required.
