About the role:

Reporting to the Sr Director of Product Marketing and working collaboratively with the entire Product Marketing team, the Product Marketing Intern will help execute go-to-market (GTM) motions for key products and projects across the AlayaCare platform. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of different marketing functions and experience with functions that Product Marketing normally works with regularly like Digital Marketing, Demand Generation, Events. Any type of experience working with a technology SaaS company is a big plus.

The Product Marketing Intern will learn how SaaS organizations operate and learn how Product Marketing is the interlock between the Product organization and other functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Account Management, Finance, among many others.

The candidate will also learn to clearly articulate value propositions for our products, define, understand, and address our customer pain points and how to develop and own the positioning, messaging and launch activities of new products and features. As a Product Marketing Intern, you will be given one key project to complete and present in your tenure here while you assist on other Product Marketing launches and projects to gain rounded experience.

A day in the life:

  • Help and assist the Product Marketing team in their Go To Market planning – help gather feedback, build first versions of marketing collateral that will aid in an effective and scalable go-to-market process.
  • Create communications that will directly impact customers within the bounds of product marketing defined messaging and positioning.
  • Develop high-impact sales enablement tools and decks that will help influence sales deals.
  • Assist in commercializing new products consistent with launch plans developed by a Product Marketing Manager and provide direct support that ensures cross-functional alignment.
  • Help project manage launches and facilitate speedy delivery of work between stake holders
  • Work closely with leadership to help our customer programs take flight.
  • Assist with building research backed competitive battlecards.
  • Contribute towards key product marketing projects being led by leadership which will challenge you and help you learn more about data analysis, customer’ voice understanding and marketing pipeline building with relation to Product Marketing.

What you bring to the team:

  • Any professional experience especially in B2B SaaS or in Sales or Marketing is a plus
  • Healthcare technology experience and interest is an asset.
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Strong organization skills that will help build a project management muscle
  • Detail-oriented and thorough.
  • Exceptional time management, interpersonal, communication skills
  • Strong written, and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated innovation and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Desire to collaborate, keen to learn and not afraid to ask questions
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in French is an asset

Location and travel requirements:

AlayaCare supports a flexible hybrid working model, expecting that our employees have a regular in-office presence at their closest office location while offering flexibility for some remote work. Our team encourages in-person collaboration and with this, the preferred candidate location for this position would be within the Greater Montreal Area.
