About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager of Business Operations, the Senior Analyst will have a critical role in joining our rapidly growing team. We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to support strategic decision making across the business. The Senior Analyst will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision making, optimizing operational processes, and leading projects which result in major impact on the future of the business. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Executive Team and to work in a Global and fast-paced SaaS environment.
Specifically in this role, you will leverage technical expertise to analyze data that you will present to your team, and prospective decision makers to support strategic decision making. You are proficient in turning data into meaninful insights to make recommendations to stakeholders, including executives, managers, and employees. This role aims to bring structure and clarity to complex problems through translating technical/analytical projects to non-technical stakeholders to support robust, evidence-based decisions.
AlayaCare supports a flexible working model, expecting our employees to spend some time onsite at their closest office location while offering flexibility for some remote work. Our team encourages in-person collaboration and with this, the preferred candidate location would be within the Greater Toronto Area.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to refine and measure the company's OKR’s and key strategic initiatives. Provide data-driven recommendations for growth initiatives, market expansion, and diversification.
- Supporting strategic initiatives and projects across business by developing structured analyses and synthesizing key insights.
- Help establish and influence data process, tools, and systems that will allow us to make better decisions in a scalable way.
- Assess the performance of segments and business units and identify areas for improvement or optimization. Provide recommendations for resource allocation and operational enhancements.
- You’ll monitor the impact of your insights and recommendations and track the success of the projects you’ve worked on to ensure they’re achieving their objectives.
- Be a generalist resource by providing a broad range of analytical, research, and presentation preparation support to the team.
What you bring to the team:
- University degree in in a relevant field, Business, Commerce, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience at a B2B Technology Software company.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Looker/ Tableau, Hubspot.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills – with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Detail-oriented, with clear and proven track record of cross functional collaboration to drive results.
- Exposure to/understanding of the greater home health/care industry and our customer lifecycle would be an asset.
- Ability to interpret business objectives and drivers to shape initiatives and deliver outcomes that fulfill these objectives.
- Experience applying data and analytics concepts to complex business problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to and collaborate with business leaders.
- A curiosity and interest of the B2B software & services customer lifecycle.
