The Role: are you up for the challenge?

Aimsio takes great pride in delivering an exceptional onboarding experience. As an Onboarding Developer, your role involves guiding and configuring a new client's workflow within the platform. Your primary focus is to seamlessly translate client requirements into the system, setting the stage for their success. The ideal candidate possesses programming expertise and is driven by a passion for resolving business challenges, prioritizing problem-solving over traditional software development pursuits.

Responsibilities: how will you make a contribution?

• Configure requirements using our internal software in a timely and error-free manner.
• Quickly understand business requirements and communicate effectively with clients regarding technical requirements, with the assistance of the Project Manager.
• Possess strong problem-solving, communication and organizational skills, capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously and easily switching contexts.
• Ensure that the project is on time with high client satisfaction.

Qualifications: do you have what it takes?

• Strong knowledge of SQL, HTML/CSS, and Excel formula
• Knowledge of Javascript is a plus but not required
• Strong written and verbal English communication
• Experience collaborating with teams
• Patient and positive demeanour
• Ability to explain complicated technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Highly organized and deadline-driven, with an incredible ability to multi-task
• Intermediate understanding of project management methodologies

Please note that this position has minimal coding work. You will be using internal tools to build on top of our base product.

Location

Going forward, Aimsio will be Remote First which means we're flexible about where you live. However, we can currently only consider candidates who are legally able to work for us in Canada. Our "home cities" are Calgary and Vancouver, so if you live elsewhere, at very least you should expect occasional flights to our home cities in the future for team building events (we can't wait!).
