WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

If you’re a front-end platform developer at Agility, you’ll get to build the systems that enable our customers to deliver great content and experiences to their users. As a Front-end Team Lead, you’ll lead a team that designs, builds, improves, and maintains the foundational front-end ecosystem enabling our users. Your leadership and decisions will have a significant impact on the productivity of your fellow developers, as well as the developers and end-users of the platform itself. There’s a lot of work to do to make our platform even more reliable and robust than it is today, and we’d love for you to be part of it. Since our users are both developers and non-technical users, we must make the system intuitive and simple yet powerful and capable for both types of people.

We’re looking for developers with a strong background in building product front-ends using React. This is a remote role, so you’ll be collaborating with the rest of the team remotely.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, mentor, and help manage a team of front-end developers.
• Design, build, evolve, and maintain the foundational front-end of the Agility CMS platform.
• Create design components used by your team and developers who use Agility to build integrations.
• Build UI changes that will help increase the productivity of users and developers.
• Ensure our UI components and libraries are reliable, scalable, secure, and extensible.
• Drive sound technical decision-making and lead technical conversations with other teams across Agility.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
• Build and maintain the web applications that power the Agility CMS UI.
• Work on our design system components, which are used both internally for building applications and externally by teams building UI Extensions to the platform.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• You care deeply about consistency, usability, and speed.
• You know your way around the modern front-end ecosystem and have worked on complex web applications with a global user base.
• You can debug problems that span systems and design solutions that span the whole stack.
• You’re energized by focusing on the needs of our users, both internal and external.
• You hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systems.
• You write high-quality code and are willing to work outside front-end technologies.
• You are adept at clear, concise, well-organized written communication about your work.
• You have 5-10 years of experience as a software engineer, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• You have experience leading and mentoring a team of developers.
