Key Responsibilities:

Topical product creation & HA Production

  • Retrieve biological samples from liquid nitrogen (LN2) storage tanks or dewars.
  • Plate hair follicle samples within ISO-7 and ISO-5 cleanrooms, following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines.
  • Monitor cell cultures routinely and harvest cell-conditioned media.
  • Prepare hyaluronic acid (HA) diluent, then seal and crimp vials.
  • Perform aseptic filtration and filling of product vials; conduct visual inspections, sealing, and crimping.
  • Maintain accurate batch records, complete required forms, and enter data into the laboratory information system (LIS).
  • Label and package vials for shipment, ensuring quality and compliance.

Hair Follicle Biobanking

  • Collect, analyze, and cryopreserve human biological samples within ISO-7 and ISO-5 cleanrooms, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines.
  • Facilitate the transfer of biological samples into and out of liquid nitrogen tanks.
  • Maintain liquid nitrogen supply through coordination with Liquid Nitrogen Supplier
  • Maintain precise documentation to track all stages of the biobanking and manufacturing workflow.
  • Perform routine data entry in batch records, forms, and logs.
  • Identify and report any deviations to the immediate supervisor, ensuring proper documentation of deviation records.
  • Contribute to quality control improvements by assisting in SOP development and maintaining thorough documentation.

Commercial Laboratory Operations

  • Manage inbound sample receipt, inventory tracking, and dispensing of collection kits.
  • Handle biohazardous waste disposal, uphold lab cleanliness, and coordinate the recycling of reusable instruments.
  • Monitor and maintain lab supply inventory, reporting shortages to the operations manager.
  • Coordinate logistics including scheduling FedEx pickups, tracking inbound and outbound samples, and organizing daily product shipments.

Key Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent laboratory experience) or equivalent lab diploma (medical lab technologists)

Experience Level

  • Entry-Level: 0–2 years of experience in a biobank, laboratory, or cleanroom environment (suitable for recent graduates with relevant hands-on experience).
  • Mid-Level: 2–5 years of experience in biobanking, cell culture, or biospecimen processing (preferred).

Technical Skills

  • Experience handling biological samples, ideally including cryopreservation and liquid nitrogen storage.
  • Familiarity with ISO-7 and ISO-5 cleanroom environments and SOP/GLP compliance.
  • Knowledge of biobanking workflows, sample tracking, and data documentation.
  • Experience in inventory management, shipping logistics, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to follow quality control procedures and assist in SOP development.

Preferred but Not Required

  • Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., GMP, CLIA, or FDA-compliant labs).
  • Previous work in commercial laboratory operations, biomanufacturing, or regenerative medicine.
  • Familiarity with FedEx shipment coordination for biological samples.
  • Experience in a startup environment is a plus.

Schedule

  • Tuesday to Saturday, subject to change based on business needs.
