Position Overview:
The Clinical Study Manager (CSM) will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, timelines, budgets, and quality requirements. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, external vendors, and investigators to support the company’s product development goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all operational aspects of assigned clinical studies from start-up to close-out.
- Ensure alignment cross-functionally on timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee vendor selection and management (EDC, IRB, etc) to ensure adherence to contracts and quality standards.
- Develop and review key study documents (protocols, informed consent forms, study budgets).
- Develop study logs, case report forms (CRFs), budget worksheets, study tools for recruiting, and other materials used to support the sites and subjects.
- Monitor site data entry and trigger queries when needed.
- Monitor study performance metrics and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with GCP/ICH guidelines and company SOPs.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or healthcare; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing clinical trials in biotech/pharma.
- Strong knowledge of clinical processes across various phases of clinical development
- Excellent project management, communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Experience in medical aesthetics a plus.
- Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
- Ability to travel 25%-30% of the time.
