This is a 3-6 weeks contract position with possibility of extension.
Primary Duties:

• Provides a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of development of pre-production projects
• Hands-on assembly of mechanical components using general hand tools
• Operation of custom equipment in relation to assembly and build of electric motors (winding machine, balancing machine, solder pot, etc.)
• Build wire harnesses
• Write work instructions while looking for areas of improvement of assembly method
• May be required to assist with assembly of electronics into mechanical assemblies

• Proficient with use of power tools and hand tools
• Skilled in electrical (wire harness) materials, fabrication and assembly methods
• Able to follow build instructions and improve upon processes
• Must be able to read and interpret engineered drawings
• Detail-oriented with outlook for continuous improvement
• Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
• Experience with Lathes, Mills, End-Mills or other machine shop equipment an asset
• Ability to solder and weld components
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
