Together (an Absorb company) is looking for a motivated, hard-working Manager, Account Management to lead our Account Management team. This role is critical to driving expansion revenue, renewals, and long-term customer retention across Together’s customer base.

The Manager, Account Management is responsible for the overall health and growth of existing customer relationships. You will lead teams focused on renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and expansion opportunities, while ensuring customers realize measurable value from the Together Mentorship platform. What you’ll do:

  • Lead and develop the Account Management team ensuring strong collaboration across expansion, renewal, and retention motions
  • Own net dollar retention, with direct accountability for renewal rates, expansion revenue, and churn reduction
  • Partner with Account Managers and Customer Success Managers to ensure deep understanding of customer goals and how Together can support mentorship, career development, and workforce growth initiatives
  • Establish and manage key weekly and monthly performance metrics, including expansion pipeline, renewals, retention, customer health, and forecast accuracy
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations teams to identify campaigns and initiatives that drive qualified expansion opportunities
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with senior customer stakeholders and executive sponsors to uncover growth opportunities within existing accounts
  • Support and guide complex contract negotiations, renewals, and multi-year expansion deals
  • Recruit, hire, coach, and retain a high-performing team of Account Managers and Customer Success professionals
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality customer engagement and communications across the customer lifecycle
  • Actively contribute to department-wide and cross-functional initiatives by sharing insights, best practices, and strategic recommendations that improve customer experience and revenue outcomes

What you’ll bring:

  • 4+ years of experience leading Enterprise Sales and/or Account Management teams
  • Experience running teams targeted on Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Gross Revenue Retention (GRR), renewals, upsells, and expansion
  • Proven success negotiating and closing deals with $100K+ ACV, including renewals and expansions
  • A hands-on leadership style, leading by example and prioritizing coaching, performance management, and career development
  • Strong expertise in account planning, renewal strategy, and expansion forecasting
  • A track record of accurately forecasting pipeline and anticipating trends related to churn, expansion, and customer health
  • An analytical mindset, with the ability to turn data and customer insights into actionable decisions and clear executive-level reporting
  • Experience aligning Customer Success outcomes with commercial goals is strongly preferred
