About the role:

As a Product Manager at Absorb, you'll be the key driver behind our product strategy and roadmap. You'll dive deep into understanding our customers, the Absorb business, and the market to create products that delight and help Absorb lead the LMS space. You'll partner with external providers and internal teams to accelerate customer learning goals through the use of AI, upskilling and great content offerings.

What you’ll do:

• Strategic Visionary: Collaborate with the Group PM and internal stakeholders to shape the strategic vision for your product area. Use your insights into customer needs and business priorities to identify, assess, and prioritize product gaps.

• Roadmap Developer: Define and execute the product roadmap, turning high-level strategies into clear priorities, manageable stories, and product backlogs with your scrum teams.

• Client Success Partner: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive product adoption and ensure our clients are successful from launch through the entire product lifecycle.

• Product Advocate: Promote the product roadmap within the company and to our customers, generating excitement and buy-in.

• Data-Driven Decision Maker: Use data to drive decisions, set success metrics, and analyze the product's impact on key customer and business outcomes.

• Documentation Expert: Maintain comprehensive product and project documentation, performance metrics, tracking, and reporting.

• Collaboration Facilitator: Understand cross-team dependencies and ensure smooth collaboration across the organization for successful goal delivery and an outstanding client experience.

• Design & Engineering Collaborator: Work closely with Design and Engineering to ensure our solutions are feasible, usable, and exceptional.

• Scrum Ceremony Leader: Support scrum ceremonies like backlog grooming, Sprint Planning, Demos, and Retrospectives with the development team.

• Mentor and Guide: Mentor less experienced team members and promote best practices in Product Management.

• Other Duties as Required: In the dynamic world of product management, there’s always something new and exciting around the corner!

What you'll bring:

• 4+ years of experience in Product Management or similar experience in B2B SaaS organizations

• Empathetic & curious, strength in using customer research, qualitative and quantitative data to make decisions

• Excellent team and relationship building abilities, with both internal and external parties (engineers, business stakeholders, partners, etc.)

• Strong communication and writing skills, including the ability to distil complex topics into effective, executive-friendly presentations.

• Expertise in applying agile and software development methodologies, including facilitating trade off decisions on technical approach, balancing speed to value, customer experience and system health

• Project management and problem solving skills, with excellent business acumen.

• Strong leadership skills, including ability to influence via diplomacy and tact.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent industry experience

• Candidates with a background in EdTech and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) are highly preferred
