About the role:

Absorb Software is looking for a motivated and energetic individual to join our Company as a quality assurance analyst. The successful applicant will join a fun and challenging multi-disciplinary team that is passionate about supporting our customers through quality improvements and integrations of our products.

Your Role:

The quality assurance analyst will join an agile development team to deliver high-quality products through continuous and rigorous testing activities focusing on integration, automation, and database performance testing.

What you'll do:

• Define, write, and automate test cases for business requirements.

• Iteratively test for code quality in a continuous delivery cycle.

• Effectively communicate quality and coordinate meetings.

• Develop and support test automation and automation strategy.

• Develop and maintain automated regression test suites where applicable.

• Use scripting/coding skills to enhance test automation, utilities, and accelerators.

• Fully utilize strong understating of the Software Development Life Cycle.

• Work with developers and team leads within the organization.

What you'll bring:

• 3+ years experience in testing.

• Confident in Agile development, experience with JIRA workflows and Confluence.

• Proficient with integration and UI testing.

• Database knowledge and SQL/DB querying experience.

• 1+ years experience in testing API, Web-Services and databases.

• Experience testing REST API endpoints and authentication.

• Propose an appropriate approach for automation and implement best practices.

• Experience in Test Automation, Test Design, Test Execution Analysis & Reporting.

Additional preferred qualifications:

• Ability to write automation in an object oriented language
