What you’ll do:

  • Prepare various revenue and revenue share month end entries and analysis.
  • Support revenue and cost of sale variance analysis and account reconciliation (such as deferred revenue, prepaids, accounts receivable) to ensure accuracy and completeness of balances and monthly reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for annual audits.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and assist with ad-hoc analysis projects as requested.
  • Become a NetSuite & Zuora expert user and support system functionality and optimization.
  • Act as back-up to team members for preparation of month end financial statement reporting and support period close processes as requested.
  • Assist with process improvement of our current procedures.
  • Prepare process documentation for the FRR (Financial Revenue Reporting) team.
  • Verify the validity of revenue account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from the billing department.
  • Provide administrative support to the FRR Team including updating various documentation and preparation of audit related materials, team dashboards and meeting coordination as required.

What you’ll bring:

  • An bachelors/university degree in accounting.
  • Working towards obtaining a CPA designation or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must have thorough understanding of IFRS 15 or ASC 606. Candidate needs to be able to understand and explain revenue adjustments and processes.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • 2+ years of related experience required.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
  • NetSuite experience would be an asset.
  • US GAAP accounting experience desirable; not required.
  • Well organized and able to handle multiple tasks quickly and accurately.
  • High energy, flexible and has a willingness to take initiative.
