At our company, we lead with Kyōdō — putting “we before me” and winning as a team. We stay humble, curious, and always learning, lifting each other up and celebrating shared success. We are looking for an InfoSec Engineer to own and operate key aspects of our information security program while partnering closely with IT. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, with responsibility for managing the security technology stack, supporting audits and certifications, and embedding security best practices into day-to-day IT operations. • Manage and optimize the information security technology stack (IAM, EDR, logging/monitoring, vulnerability management, cloud security tools)
  • Partner with IT on secure system configuration, access management, patching, and change management
  • Support and execute security audits and certifications (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001), including evidence collection and remediation tracking
  • Perform risk assessments, security reviews, and control testing
  • Support incident response, investigations, and post-incident improvements
  • Conduct vendor and third-party security reviews
  • Maintain clear security documentation and audit-ready evidence

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 3–6 years of experience in Information Security, IT Security, or IT Operations
  • Hands-on experience managing security tools and platforms
  • Direct involvement in security audits or certifications
  • Working knowledge of identity and access management, endpoint and network security, cloud and SaaS security fundamentals
  • Strong communicator who can translate technical risk into business impact
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels
  • Organized and audit-ready with strong documentation habits
  • Pragmatic mindset — balancing security, usability, and business velocity

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

  • Competitive compensation including discretionary bonus – the salary range for this role is $125,000 - $145,000 CAD
  • Opportunity to work at the forefront of an innovative, fast-growing industry
  • Remote-first team with a flexible work environment focused on results
  • Collaborative, low-ego culture with a strong execution mindset
  • Annual company offsites to connect, collaborate, and recharge
  • Birthdays off to celebrate your day your way!
  • Unlimited Vacation
  • Supportive parental leave policy designed to prioritize family and well-being
