3iQ is looking for a Senior Associate, People & Culture whose organizational skills, attention to detail, drive to see things through to the end and willingness to collaborate are exceptional. Maintaining the utmost confidentiality, this person will be a key member of the 3iQ team and a positive point of contact for all. Possessing a broad set of makes the ideal candidate an indispensable part of a team. Working largely with our Head of People & Culture, this person will work remotely so must be a self-starter that is driven to see the success of the team and organization.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process bi-monthly payroll for various jurisdictions in a timely and accurate manner
- Point of contact for employees with questions or issues requiring resolution
- Manage and administer benefits programs
- Ensure all policies are up to date and compliant with regional legislation
- Support recruiting full recruiting process including job descriptions, postings, working with recruiters, vetting candidates and interviewing
- Support employee engagement activities to ensure a positive workplace environment
- Own and continually improve HRIS software
- Assist with employment and consulting contracts, employment confirmation letters, People & Culture communications
- Responsible for any regulatory filings (RL1, Ontario Health, WCB-BC)
- Assist with and complete onboarding and offboarding
- Assist with performance management
- General administrative tasks including event planning and providing general support wherever necessary
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years progressive human resource experience and proven track record of success in generalist work
- Excellent Office suite skills Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook
- Exceptional Excel skills
- Preference given to candidates with a CHRP/CHRL, Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Thorough knowledge of employment legislation with a focus on Ontario. Knowledge of US legislation is an asset.
- The ability to always maintain the utmost level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Possesses exceptional problem-solving skills
- Takes initiative and owns their work from beginning to end.
- Extensive experience working in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Confident and professional with the ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Must be highly organized, have a proven ability to prioritize and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of Lattice and Bamboo systems a definite asset
